Text sign-in, automatic alerts and alert settings are not yet enabled. The wording below describes the proposed service and example messages, not messages currently being sent.

Consent tick boxes on the application form
Both are optional and unticked by default. The wording, version and time are saved when ticked.
☐ Text me when someone replies to my posts or something useful lands. I can reply STOP at any time.
☐ Email me PERFORM Community news and event updates. I can unsubscribe at any time.
In alert settings, members can turn each type of text on or off at any time.
Types of message

Rules for every alert text
Sent from the sender name "PERFORM".
Ends with "Reply STOP to opt out".
STOP turns off all alert texts straight away. Login codes still work when the person asks for one.
No more than 3 alert texts per member per day. Extras are grouped into one.
No alert texts between 8pm and 6am. They wait until 6am.
Every text is logged with the date, type and whether it was opted out of.
